MP-10

Hello again, its been quite a while since my last post, sorry about that. Today, I will do a review on MP-10 Optimus Prime! Honestly I never had an Optimus figure all my life, because he looks a little "boxy" to me, or "squarish" if you like. And the G1 toy just does not look nice after you transform it. After I've seen the Masterpiece series, I have no issues in acquiring it. ( It did burn a big hole in my pocket though :) )

By the time I knew about the MP series, people were at MP-15 and MP-16, so I check out few reviews and they did some comparison with MP-1 and MP-4. Some people like MP-1 because there is die-cast on it and they feel that an MP series toy should have those qualities, while others, prefer the MP-10 series because they re-size it to fit all the other MP series cars. ( Very thoughtful indeed ). Others complain that the size of the figure issue where Optimus is too big compare to other leader class MP. Well, in the end I got mine MP-10. And for a guy who got his 1st Prime in his life, you can imagine the joy that burst out from inside! It is so cool. It comes in his robot mode with other accessories as well.

The Box is quite big and I really loved it. Right size for a worthy leader I guess. Comes with his energon axe, blaster, roller, Spike and his trailer.

The figure itself is so awesome and so accurate. Not much complain. The eyes are painted dark blue but it is quite hard to see, making the eyes appear '?dead". Articulation is great all around , just slightly unstable at the ankle joint making him sometimes tend to fell forward, dont know any of you had the same issues. Colour scheme is as accurate as you can get, but mine has a slight scratch over the silver chrome area on mine, but no big issues.

Comes with user's manual

Back page shows all the previous Primes that was launch before.

Collector's card :)

Prime's firepower is only 8/10?????

The back opens up to reveal a compartment to store his blaster.

You can fold the Blaster

Fits in nicely.

Then you can do these pose :) cool!

Energon axe.

Bring it on Decepter Punks!

His chest can be open up to reveal the Matrix. And he is flexible enough to do this pose.

The matrix itself is die-cast, good weight and design.

Prime and Roller.

Roller has a slot at the side to fit Prime's blaster.

You can turn the back compartment around and you can actually fit the trailer on roller!

The trailer itself has a stance to keep it stable while waiting for Prime.

Trailer can be open up at the back and it fits roller and other autobot cars!

Once you open up trailer, you can extend the sides to turn it into base mode. This is the bottom view.

Comes with a repair bay with ?blasters at its side.

Spike fits in nicely into roller and the repair bay.

A bit crowded, lol.

If you flip part of the trailer at the sides, you can actually pull out the repair bay.
Very cool mode :)

Spike can actually sit inside Prime!!!

Alternate mode without trailer.

Taking into account that Prime's eye looks a bit dead, you can re-enact the scene in Transformers the movie.

Since Ultra-magnus is not here, we'll use prowl instead, haha.

Rise, Prowlimus Prime..... ( I know its lame. lol )

Lets go Kick some @$$ !!

Thank you for reading. Next review will be on....... yes , you guessed it. Its MP-17 Prowl!!!!
